For Japanese composers, pretty much the greats: Yuzo Koshiro, Nobuo Uematsu, Motoi Sakuraba and a lot of others that I cant name right now due to them being underrated AF and their name being somehow inexistent in my head and the face of the earth for some reason.įor American/European composers, Tim Follin is pretty self-explanatory.Mastered by Alan Silverman at Arf MasteringĪlto Sax/Flute - Andrew Gould, Josh Plotner Piano - Jullian Pollack, Natalie Tennenbaum, Steven FeifkeĬongas/Timbales/Percussion - Wilson TorresĪrrangements and Production - Charlie Rosen Guitar - Nir Felder (banjo on trk.4), Alex Wintz, Charlie Rosen Violin - Kevin Kuh, Tomoko Akaboshi, Lavinia Pavlish, Frederique Gnaman Trombones - Alex Juen, Rob Edwards, Darius Christian Jones, Jimmy O'Connell, Nick Grinder, Becca Patterson (bs) Trumpets - Bryan Davis, John Lake, Enrique Sanchez, Joey Lamb, Gabe Medd, Chloe Rowlands, Benny Benack III Tenor Sax - Zac Zinger, Jordan Pettay, Sam Dillon, Chad Lefkowitz-Brownīaritone Sax - Sawa Tamazane, Andrew Gutauskas You might be surprised at how many tunes share the same heritage.Īnd whatever else you do today, do it with determination.Lead Vocals - Kaho Kidoguchi, Gen Parton ShinīG Vocals - Kate Steinberg, Gracie Nash, Danielle Gimbalįlute - Sarpay "Sharpeye" Ozcagatay, Anne DrummondĪlto Sax - Andrew Gould, Mercedes Beckman, Josh Plotner, Grace Kelly If you ever have some time to yourself, go through Undertale's soundtrack on YouTube and play with each song's playback speed. But I do also like people like David Wise and Evelyn Fischer (did I pronounce her name right? Not sure) for their amazing work on the DKC series, and also Chris Huelsbeck for the Turrican series.įor Indie/Fan composers, I guess NitroFlasher/Dominic Nimark (the creator of the MMX Corrupted OST) is pretty cool in my eyes, along with 40Nix, Kevin Phetsomphou and HertzDevil. Then there are the composers of this website themselves, like Lui37 and Izuna, and I guess CoolMario and CrispyYoshi as well. God, there are just WAY too many to choose! ARGH!Įither way, though, these are my top picks. What are YOU guys`s favorite composers? Maybe I might even learn some newer stuff too, who knows!ĮDIT: To add a few more: ZUN for the Touhou series, Daisuke ``Pixel´´ Amaya for Cave Story, Jake Kaufman for Shovel Knight, Falcom Sound Team JDK for the Ys series (though I did partly mention Ys by mentioning Yuzo Koshiro), Setsuo Yamamoto, Makoto Tomozawa, Yuko Takehara and Yoko Shimomura for their various works, Koji Kondo for the Mario series, Toshiharu Yamanishi, Takeshi Yoshida and Naosuke Arai for Thunder Force IV, and that`s about it tbh. #The 8bit drummer undertale twitch series I`ll edit my post again when I have other people to mention. Koji Kondo (main games of Nintendo's IP's): makes the catchiest stuff. Junichi Masuda and Go Ichinose (Pokémon): same as above. Yoko Shimomura (SF II, SMRPG, KH, M&L): very epic progressions and knowledgeable on a plethora of different styles, from chiptune to rock and ambient. Jun Ishikawa and Hirokazu Ando (Kirby): from incredibly cutesy to amazingly epic and intense tracks. Very good instrumentations and usage of key changes. Kirby wouldn't be the same without their work. #The 8bit drummer undertale twitch series.
